Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic procurement plans to meet production demands and minimize supply chain disruptions.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast material requirements to ensure timely availability of critical components.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers and vendors to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to align procurement activities with business goals.
- Evaluate and onboard new suppliers, conducting risk assessments and performance reviews to maintain a reliable supply base.
- Implement cost-reduction initiatives and process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency.
- Track and report on key procurement metrics, including lead times, delivery performance, and cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost optimization.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., ERP, MRP) and procurement best practices.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and procurement software.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian) are a plus.
