Responsibility
- Lead global new product development (NPD) projects from ideation to production, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation plans using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, quality, procurement) to resolve technical challenges and optimize resource allocation.
- Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) initiatives to enhance product scalability and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor project KPIs (e.g., schedule adherence, cost variance, defect rates) and present progress reports to senior leadership.
- Facilitate stage-gate reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline project workflows and reduce time-to-market.
- Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external partners (suppliers, customers) for project-related communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field); Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in project management within manufacturing, electronics, or a high-tech industry.
- Proven track record of successfully launching complex products in a global environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet) and methodologies (Agile, Six Sigma).
- Strong technical acumen in product development lifecycle, DFM/DFA, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to align diverse teams across geographies.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); additional languages are advantageous.
