Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of PLC-based automation systems for data centre operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, mechanical, IT) to integrate PLC solutions with SCADA, HMI, and other control systems.
- Develop and optimize control logic, ladder diagrams, and structured text for high-availability systems.
- Conduct thorough testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of PLC systems to guarantee seamless operation and minimal downtime.
- Prepare technical documentation, including P&IDs, functional descriptions, and as-built drawings, for client deliverables.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Provide technical support and training to on-site teams and end-users on PLC system operation and maintenance.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in industrial automation, IoT, and smart data centre technologies to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, or similar) for industrial or data centre applications.
- Proficiency in IEC 61131-3 programming languages (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram).
- Experience with SCADA systems (Ignition, WinCC, Citect) and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
- Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and UPS integration.
- Familiarity with industry standards (ISO, IEC, NEMA) and safety regulations for automation projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
