Responsibility
- Lead and manage marine construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate on-site schedules, resources, and personnel to optimize project efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee the implementation of engineering designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government agencies, to ensure project alignment and success.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality assessments to maintain high standards of construction and safety.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project delays or issues.
- Prepare and present progress reports, financial updates, and technical documentation to senior management.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and project teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in marine construction or related engineering projects.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects, preferably in marine or infrastructural sectors.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, marine engineering principles, and industry regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project).
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or marine engineering is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
