As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and integrating advanced electronic and electrical systems for defence-oriented UAS platforms. Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and testing of electronic and electrical systems for UAS and defence applications, ensuring compliance with military standards (e.g., MIL-STD, DO-178C).
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate emerging technologies (AI, IoT, sensor fusion) into next-gen UAS platforms.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for defence contracts, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to specifications.
- Conduct system-level requirements analysis and translate technical needs into actionable engineering plans.
- Perform risk assessments and failure mode analysis to enhance system reliability and safety.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to align technical solutions with operational needs.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in electronic/electrical subsystem development.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in defence electronics, avionics, and autonomous systems to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees in Aerospace or Defence Systems are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electronic/electrical system design for aerospace, defence, or military applications.
- Proven expertise in PCB design, embedded systems, power distribution, or avionics (e.g., Altium, MATLAB, LabVIEW).
- Familiarity with military standards (MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810) and certification processes for defence systems.
- Strong project management skills (PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred) with experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, SPICE).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of delivering complex engineering projects.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
