Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end setup and optimization of production lines, ensuring alignment with quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase throughput.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Operations) to ensure seamless integration of new systems and technologies.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process deviations or production bottlenecks.
- Oversee systems readiness for new product introductions, including equipment validation, testing, and documentation.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices, safety protocols, and process standards.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product/process engineering within a manufacturing environment (semiconductor, electronics, or precision engineering preferred).
- Proven expertise in production line setup, process development, and continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen certification is advantageous).
- Strong proficiency in process simulation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Minitab) and data analysis software (Excel, Power BI).
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities to liaise with internal and external partners.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant quality standards is a plus.
