Responsibility
- Lead and supervise construction operations from project inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, using tools like Primavera or MS Project, to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
- Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and technical assessments to inform project planning and design adjustments.
- Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance (OSHA, local building codes) to mitigate risks and ensure a secure work environment.
- Oversee documentation, reporting, and contract administration, including progress reports, change orders, and client communications.
- Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, and government agencies to resolve technical challenges and obtain necessary permits.
- Implement quality control measures to verify materials, workmanship, and structural integrity meet project specifications.
- Mentor junior engineers and site teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) from an accredited institution; Master’s degree or PE license is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management for civil construction, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and BIM software for design and planning.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, cost estimation, and contract management (FIDIC, NEC, or similar).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage multidisciplinary teams and client relationships.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations and tropical climate considerations is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, multicultural environments and adapt to evolving project demands.
- PMP or similar project management certification is preferred.
