Responsibility
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of products while optimizing resource utilization.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to align inventory levels with demand forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze production performance metrics, identifying bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions.
- Lead capacity planning initiatives to balance workload and prevent over/under-utilization of manufacturing resources.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production status, risks, and improvement opportunities to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies in all planning activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain management within the manufacturing sector.
- Proven expertise in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning tools (e.g., MRP, APS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, macros) and other productivity tools.
