Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff to ensure high productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize workflow and minimize errors.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to align warehouse activities with business needs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse.
- Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance, including KPIs such as order fulfillment rates and inventory turnover.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control best practices.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in warehouse settings.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic data analysis.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is advantageous.
