Responsibility
- Lead and supervise SMT production teams to achieve daily output targets, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Optimize production processes, including line balancing, throughput improvement, and defect reduction using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- Troubleshoot technical issues on SMT equipment (e.g., pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, AOI systems) and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Procurement) to introduce new products and improve existing manufacturing workflows.
- Develop and maintain production documentation, including work instructions, SOPs, and process control plans.
- Monitor KPIs (e.g., OEE, yield rates, cycle times) and present performance reports to senior management.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives by identifying waste, reducing material usage, and improving energy efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, IATF 16949, and other industry-specific standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SMT production engineering, preferably in electronics manufacturing (automotive, consumer electronics, or industrial sectors).
- Hands-on experience with SMT equipment (e.g., Panasonic, Juki, ASM, DEK) and process optimization tools (e.g., DOE, FMEA).
- Strong knowledge of PCB assembly, soldering processes, and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) principles.
- Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt), or similar is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office, MES systems, and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
