Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes for advanced X-ray systems and components.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to transition new products from prototype to full-scale production, ensuring manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including process instructions, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Work closely with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components while optimizing costs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and digitalization of manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Brukerâs quality management system (QMS).
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product/manufacturing engineering, preferably in the medical devices, semiconductor, or precision instrumentation industries.
- Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or process optimization methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex manufacturing challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or other relevant quality standards is a plus.
- Experience with automation, robotics, or Industry 4.0 technologies is highly desirable.
