Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of Rinnaiâs product engineering projects from concept to commercialization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, QA) to ensure products meet technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct feasibility studies, prototyping, and testing to validate product performance and reliability.
- Identify and implement cost-effective engineering solutions without compromising quality or innovation.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive products to drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to foster team growth and expertise.
- Support root-cause analysis for product failures and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in product engineering, preferably in home appliances, HVAC, or water heating systems.
- Proven track record in product development lifecycle management (from design to mass production).
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and engineering simulation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Familiarity with international standards (ISO, UL, CE) and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication and project management skills to liaise with global teams.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian is a plus.
