Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end design process for lifestyle and commercial products, from ideation to final execution, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, product management) to translate concepts into high-fidelity prototypes and production-ready designs.
- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to inform design decisions and validate product hypotheses.
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and documentation to ensure consistency across products and platforms.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, with a focus on usability and visual appeal.
- Analyze market trends, competitor products, and user feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and iterate on solutions.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging design tools, and UX/UI trends to continuously elevate the quality of your work.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing lifestyle or commercial product designs.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or InVision, with the ability to create high-fidelity prototypes.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, including usability testing, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Experience conducting user research and translating insights into actionable design solutions.
- Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and scalable design practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to non-design stakeholders.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling or CAD software (e.g., Blender, SolidWorks) is a plus for physical product design.
- Passion for lifestyle products, with an eye for aesthetics, functionality, and commercial viability.
- Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively in a flexible, results-driven environment.
