Responsibility
- Develop detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints for civil and architectural projects using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure designs meet project requirements and regulatory standards.
- Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to identify potential issues or discrepancies.
- Prepare and modify drafts based on feedback from stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Organize and maintain project documentation, including revisions, as-built drawings, and archival records.
- Assist in site visits and surveys to gather measurements and verify existing conditions for drafting purposes.
- Stay updated with industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in civil and architectural drafting.
- Support the preparation of construction documents, including permits, bids, and contract drawings.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Civil or Architectural Drafter.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings.
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working on residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects is a plus.
