Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for U.S. and Asian suppliers to reduce costs and improve supply chain resilience.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and performance reviews to ensure compliance with quality, delivery, and cost targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., logistics, finance, operations) to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, logistical, and market fluctuations.
- Monitor global market trends and leverage data analytics to inform procurement decisions.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships through regular communication and conflict resolution.
- Ensure adherence to ethical sourcing practices and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in procurement, with a focus on U.S. and Asian suppliers.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations, tariffs, and logistics.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English; additional Asian languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese) are a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting with a results-driven mindset.
