Responsibility
- Lead daily production line monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Conduct in-depth simulation studies and process evaluations to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and implement rework strategies to enhance product quality and reduce defects, directly impacting FPY metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, R&D, Operations) to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze production data to recommend process adjustments, tooling modifications, or material changes for efficiency gains.
- Document and standardize best practices, SOPs, and engineering guidelines for sustained process stability.
- Mentor junior engineers and production staff on technical problem-solving and process optimization techniques.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma) and internal quality control protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in process engineering, sustaining engineering, or manufacturing, preferably in a high-volume production environment.
- Proven expertise in simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation) and statistical process control (SPC).
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
- Experience with FPY improvement, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective action (CAPA) systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal) and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with ERP/MES systems and data-driven decision-making tools is a plus.
