Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on production machinery, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in manufacturing equipment using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency, meeting quality and output targets.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts inventory, and repair logs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, PPE usage, and compliance with OSHA and local regulations.
- Assist in the installation, calibration, and testing of new machinery or system upgrades.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance equipment reliability and reduce energy consumption.
- Provide emergency support for breakdowns to restore operations swiftly and minimize production losses.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Plant Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems, motors, pumps, conveyors, and industrial automation.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with welding, machining, and precision tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
