Responsibility
- Lead the New Product Introduction (NPI) process from prototype to full-scale production, ensuring seamless transitions and adherence to timelines.
- Collaborate with R&D, design, and production teams to optimize product designs for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures to improve efficiency, quality, and yield.
- Conduct process validation, testing, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve production bottlenecks or defects.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including work instructions, BOMs, and process flow diagrams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control protocols (e.g., ISO, CE, UL).
- Train and mentor production staff on new processes, equipment, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in NPI, manufacturing engineering, or production, preferably in electronics, medical devices, or consumer goods.
- Proven expertise in DFM (Design for Manufacturability), process optimization, and root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD), ERP/MRP systems, and statistical tools (e.g., Minitab).
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a hands-on approach.
