Responsibility
- Lead the development and optimization of molding processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product launches and continuous process improvements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related issues.
- Drive tooling innovation and process standardization across manufacturing sites.
- Monitor and analyze process performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and manufacturing teams.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability and process feasibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on molding technologies.
- Strong knowledge of molding processes, tooling design, and process optimization techniques.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in CAD software and process simulation tools is a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support global manufacturing sites.
