Responsibility
- Lead the optimization of lithium-ion battery manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, yield, and product quality.
- Develop and implement process control strategies to minimize defects and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to scale up new battery technologies from pilot to mass production.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for process deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Design and execute DOE (Design of Experiments) to validate process improvements and parameter adjustments.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, scrap rate, and energy consumption.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, IATF, UL) and internal quality management systems.
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices in process engineering and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in lithium-ion battery manufacturing or semiconductor industries.
- Proven track record in process optimization, yield improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Strong proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
- Experience with DOE, FMEA, and 8D problem-solving techniques.
- Familiarity with battery production equipment (e.g., coating, calendaring, slitting, assembly, and formation).
- Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Badung, Bali and work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
