Responsibility
- Lead the development, optimization, and maintenance of dry etch processes to meet production yield and quality targets.
- Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to implement process improvements and new technologies.
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot process-related issues to minimize downtime and enhance efficiency.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and training materials.
- Monitor and analyze process performance using statistical methods and data-driven approaches.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards in all process operations.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to support new product introductions and process transfers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with a focus on dry etch processes.
- Strong knowledge of plasma etching techniques, equipment, and process control methodologies.
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC), design of experiments (DOE), and failure analysis.
- Proficient in using semiconductor process tools and metrology equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with ISO, SEMI, and other industry standards is a plus.
