Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute test plans for semiconductor products, including analog, mixed-signal, and embedded systems.
- Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to define test specifications and ensure product compliance with industry standards (e.g., JEDEC, AEC-Q).
- Debug and analyze test failures using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and automated test equipment (ATE).
- Optimize test time and yield by improving test algorithms, hardware fixtures, and software scripts (Python, C++, LabVIEW).
- Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on test methodologies and best practices.
- Document test procedures, reports, and validation results for internal and customer-facing deliverables.
- Stay current with emerging test technologies and industry trends to enhance TIâs competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor test engineering, validation, or product engineering.
- Hands-on experience with ATE systems (e.g., Teradyne, Advantest) and test program development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or LabVIEW for test automation.
- Strong understanding of analog/mixed-signal circuits, PCB design, and debugging techniques.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis (SPC, DOE) and data-driven problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with global teams and present technical findings.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment with minimal supervision.
