Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of assembly tools, fixtures, and equipment to improve manufacturing processes and efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to identify process bottlenecks and implement data-driven solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for new process implementations.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other process optimization methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and TE Connectivity’s quality policies.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and production teams.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process efficiency, yield, and cost savings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process development, manufacturing engineering, or a related role, with a focus on assembly tools, fixtures, or equipment.
- Proven expertise in process optimization, Lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus).
- Strong technical skills in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), process simulation tools, and statistical analysis.
- Experience with project management and cross-functional collaboration in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data to drive decision-making.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
