Responsibility
- Lead the strategic planning, development, and implementation of radiography services at EGH, ensuring alignment with SingHealth Group’s clinical and operational goals.
- Oversee the design and optimization of radiography workflows, integrating advanced imaging technologies and digital solutions.
- Develop and enforce standardized protocols for medical imaging, radiation safety, and quality assurance in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, IT specialists, and administrators, to enhance service efficiency and patient outcomes.
- Mentor and train radiography staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and professional growth.
- Monitor and evaluate service performance metrics, implementing data-driven improvements to maintain high standards of care.
- Represent the radiography department in stakeholder meetings, advocating for resource allocation and process enhancements.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in radiography and medical imaging, recommending and adopting best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Radiography, Medical Imaging, or a related field, with valid professional certification (e.g., ARRT, HCPC, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in radiography, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing radiography services, preferably in a hospital or large healthcare facility.
- In-depth knowledge of radiation safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance (e.g., IAEA, WHO, or local health authority standards).
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to drive change and inspire teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Proficiency in radiography software (e.g., PACS, RIS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for advancing medical imaging practices.
