Join CPG Corporation as a Senior/Principal Mechanical Engineer and lead the design and execution of cutting-edge building services mechanical systems in Baliâs most prestigious projects. As a key member of our engineering team, you will oversee the planning, design, and implementation of mechanical systems for commercial, residential, and institutional buildings. Your expertise will drive innovation in HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and energy-efficient solutions, ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulations.
Based in Bali (with flexibility across Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung), youâll collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver world-class engineering solutions that balance functionality, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibility
- Lead the conceptual and detailed design of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) for large-scale building projects.
- Develop and review tender documents, specifications, and drawings in compliance with industry standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, local codes).
- Conduct feasibility studies, load calculations, and energy modeling to optimize system performance and sustainability.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate mechanical designs seamlessly into project plans.
- Oversee site inspections and commissioning to ensure systems meet design intent and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex mechanical engineering challenges.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies (e.g., smart building systems, renewable energy integration) and recommend innovations.
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and project timelines for mechanical works.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; PE (Professional Engineer) license is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering for building services, with at least 5 years in a senior/lead role.
- Proven track record in designing and delivering HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for commercial or high-rise projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and BIM software; familiarity with energy simulation tools (e.g., IES, EnergyPlus) is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of international codes (ASHRAE, IMC, IPC) and Indonesian building regulations.
- Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills to coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Experience with sustainable design principles (LEED, Green Mark) and cost optimization strategies.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali or travel to project sites as needed.
