Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize high-power electronics circuits for industrial, renewable energy, and electric mobility applications.
- Lead R&D projects from concept to prototyping, including schematic design, PCB layout, and firmware integration.
- Conduct simulation and modeling (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink) to validate circuit performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with mechanical and software teams to ensure seamless integration of power electronics into larger systems.
- Perform thermal analysis, EMI/EMC compliance testing, and reliability assessments for power modules.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in wide-bandgap semiconductors (SiC, GaN), digital power control, and energy storage.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on power electronics best practices.
- Document design specifications, test reports, and compliance certifications for regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field; PhD is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in power electronics design for industrial or automotive applications.
- Proficiency in circuit design tools (Altium, KiCad, OrCAD) and simulation software (PLECS, PSIM).
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage DC/DC converters, inverters, and motor drives.
- Strong knowledge of control algorithms (PWM, MPPT, PID) and digital signal processing (DSP).
- Familiarity with ISO 26262, IEC 62368, or other safety/compliance standards for power systems.
- Experience with embedded C/C++ for microcontroller-based power control (STM32, TI C2000, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative R&D environment.
