Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based platform solutions for financial and accounting systems using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and monitoring using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and security for high-availability Management Information Systems (MIS).
- Collaborate with DevOps and software engineering teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless integration of platform components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across distributed systems, databases, and microservices.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities and support business growth.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2) and best practices for data protection and privacy.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Platform Engineer, Cloud Architect, or DevOps Engineer in a mid-to-senior role.
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet).
- Experience with financial systems, accounting software, or ERP solutions is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.
