Responsibility
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, ensuring alignment with project milestones and deliverables.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and resource requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare and present progress reports, including critical path analysis and earned value management (EVM) metrics.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to verify compliance with planning specifications and safety regulations.
- Support bidding processes by preparing tender documents, cost estimates, and project timelines for new opportunities.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in project planning and execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning engineering, with a focus on civil or railway projects.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, scheduling techniques, and risk management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) or Planning (PMI-SP) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with local regulations and standards in Indonesia related to civil and railway projects.
