Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of elderly residents to develop personalized physiotherapy treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based interventions, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and mobility training.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure holistic care.
- Educate residents and their families on injury prevention, safe movement techniques, and home exercise programs.
- Provide post-surgical and post-stroke rehabilitation to restore function and independence.
- Assist in fall prevention programs and balance training for elderly patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid physiotherapy license (recognition in Indonesia or eligibility to obtain one).
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience, with at least 1 year specializing in geriatric care.
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions common in elderly patients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest physiotherapy techniques.
