Responsibility
- Develop and execute performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios using industry-standard tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling).
- Design and implement automated test frameworks to validate system performance, scalability, and stability.
- Translate user requirements and business needs into technical test cases and measurable performance metrics.
- Identify, analyze, and report performance bottlenecks, defects, and anomalies with actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of performance testing in CI/CD pipelines.
- Generate detailed test reports and documentation for stakeholders, highlighting risks, trends, and improvements.
- Monitor and optimize application performance under various load conditions to ensure SLA compliance.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in performance testing and automation to enhance testing methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Performance Tester, QA Automation Engineer, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) for test automation.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with API testing, database testing, and cloud-based performance testing (AWS, Azure).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with strong communication and collaboration skills.
