As a Senior Payroll Executive, you’ll leverage your expertise in accounting, HR, or business administration to manage complex payroll systems, resolve discrepancies, and ensure adherence to local and international regulations. Responsibility
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, including salary calculations, tax deductions, and benefits administration for employees across multiple regions.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies, mitigating risks and avoiding penalties.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to reconcile payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and generate accurate financial reports.
- Manage payroll software systems, including updates, troubleshooting, and integration with HRIS or ERP platforms.
- Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports for management and auditing purposes.
- Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and tax matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Lead process improvements to streamline payroll operations, reduce errors, and enhance efficiency.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll processing, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor compliance (preferred).
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, ADP, or local systems) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and employees.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage confidential information with integrity.
- Certifications such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar are a plus.
