Responsibility
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Indonesian GAAP.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including VAT, corporate income tax, and other regulatory requirements.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and efficiency.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants during audits and compliance reviews.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or similar certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required.
- Experience in the retail, manufacturing, or service industry is preferred.
