Responsibility
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for employees in the construction industry, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage and reconcile payroll data, including salaries, bonuses, allowances, and deductions, in compliance with local regulations.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll with other financial and HR systems.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports, tax filings, and other payroll-related documentation to government authorities.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee inquiries related to compensation and benefits.
- Implement and maintain payroll best practices, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws, tax regulations, and industry standards affecting payroll operations.
- Support month-end and year-end payroll closing activities, including audits and financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPP, CIPD) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing, with at least 2 years in a senior or managerial role, preferably in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of local labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll compliance requirements in Indonesia.
- Proficient in using payroll software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local payroll platforms).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with employees, HR, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment is highly desirable.
