Responsibility
- Provide geological leadership and technical guidance for mining and exploration projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry best practices.
- Oversee operational geoscience support, including drilling programs, core logging, and geological mapping to optimize resource evaluation and extraction.
- Analyze and interpret geological data, including geochemical, geophysical, and drill hole data, to identify mineralization trends and inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with engineering, environmental, and safety teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and sustainable mining practices.
- Prepare detailed geological reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Mentor and train junior geologists and field technicians to enhance team capabilities and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in site visits, fieldwork, and safety audits to monitor project progress and mitigate geological risks.
- Contribute to the development of exploration strategies and resource models to support long-term project planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Geology, Geoscience, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in operational geology, mining, or resource exploration, with a proven track record in geological leadership.
- Proficiency in geological software (e.g., Leapfrog, Surpac, ArcGIS, or similar) and data analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of mineral exploration techniques, including drilling, sampling, and resource estimation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex geological data and present findings clearly.
- Experience working in Indonesia or Southeast Asia is highly desirable, with knowledge of local regulations and mining practices.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and conduct fieldwork in remote or challenging environments.
