Responsibility
- Oversee daily core drilling operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of drilling technicians, providing training and performance feedback.
- Monitor drilling progress, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to environmental and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with geologists and engineers to optimize drilling strategies and achieve project objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of drilling activities, equipment maintenance, and safety incidents.
- Manage equipment inventory, ensuring all tools and machinery are operational and well-maintained.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement best practices for drilling operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in core drilling operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of drilling techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with mining software and data analysis tools.
- Valid certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., OSHA, MSHA).
- Willingness to relocate to Canggu, Bali, and work in remote mining sites as required.
