Responsibility
- Assist plastic surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring all instruments and equipment are prepared and functional.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes or emergencies during surgery.
- Maintain a sterile operating environment by adhering to strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure seamless workflow and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient education and recovery monitoring.
- Document all surgical procedures, patient responses, and care provided in accordance with medical standards.
- Train and mentor junior nursing staff on surgical protocols and best practices.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance surgical care standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification; certification in surgical nursing is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in surgical nursing, preferably in plastic or cosmetic surgery.
- Valid nursing license and registration with the Indonesian Nursing Association.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and patient care protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in mentoring junior staff.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and ethical practice.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is preferred.
