Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) processes, from feasibility studies to mass production, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with R&D, design, and manufacturing teams to optimize product designs for manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and quality.
- Develop and implement robust product development workflows, including prototyping, testing, and validation phases.
- Drive packaging innovation and workflow improvements to enhance product protection, sustainability, and customer experience.
- Identify and mitigate risks in NPI projects through proactive analysis, contingency planning, and stakeholder alignment.
- Monitor and report on project milestones, KPIs, and budget adherence, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to streamline processes and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies throughout the product lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in NPI, product development, or manufacturing engineering, preferably in the print, packaging, or consumer goods industry.
- Proven track record of successfully launching new products from concept to commercialization.
- Strong proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA) and CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, assembly, printing) and quality control methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, FMEA).
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
