Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage SD-WAN, LAN/WAN, and hybrid cloud network architectures to ensure high availability and performance.
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of server infrastructure, including virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), storage solutions, and disaster recovery systems.
- Collaborate with presales teams to develop technical proposals, solution designs, and cost estimates for client engagements.
- Conduct network assessments, performance tuning, and security audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshoot complex network and infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies (e.g., SASE, zero-trust security, multi-cloud networking) and recommend adoption strategies.
- Document network topologies, configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in network engineering, IT infrastructure, or presales roles, with a focus on SD-WAN, routing/switching, and server management.
- Proven expertise in Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or Palo Alto networks, including certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIA, PCNSE) is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with server virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPN, firewalls, and load balancing technologies.
- Experience in presales activities, including solution design, RFP responses, and client presentations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a bonus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
