Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable network infrastructures for global clients, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Lead major network projects, including hardware upgrades, software deployments, and security enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with cloud, security, and DevOps initiatives.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to minimize downtime.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies (e.g., SD-WAN, Zero Trust, AI-driven networking) and recommend adoption strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for network security and data protection.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on enterprise or service provider environments.
- Expertise in routing and switching (Cisco, Juniper, or similar), firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
- Hands-on experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid infrastructure.
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios) and scripting (Python, Bash).
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS protocols.
- Certifications such as CCNP, JNCIE, or AWS Certified Advanced Networking are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a remote, global team.
