Responsibility
- Network Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade network systems, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
- Project Leadership: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of network-related projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance speed, reliability, and scalability.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce network security protocols, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, NIST).
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide expert-level support for network issues, minimizing downtime and resolving complex technical challenges.
- Documentation & Reporting: Codify implementation designs, network configurations, and operational procedures for end-user reference and internal audits.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with vendors, service providers, and internal teams to align network strategies with business objectives.
- Innovation & Upgrades: Research and recommend emerging technologies (e.g., SD-WAN, cloud networking) to future-proof infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are highly advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in network engineering, with proven expertise in enterprise network design and administration.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in routing/switching (Cisco, Juniper), firewalls, load balancers, and network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG).
- Project Management: Experience leading IT infrastructure projects, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues under pressure, with a proactive approach to prevention.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment with a remote or hybrid setup.
- Security Awareness: Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and experience with network hardening techniques.
