Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Develop and enforce network security policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize systems for maximum efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to identify vulnerabilities and deploy proactive threat mitigation strategies.
- Lead network architecture projects, from planning to execution, while adhering to best practices and budget constraints.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support teams.
- Document network configurations, processes, and incident reports for knowledge sharing and compliance.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on infrastructure and security.
- Expertise in Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking technologies (CCNP, JNCIE, or equivalent certifications preferred).
- Hands-on experience with firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet), VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and other core networking protocols.
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid infrastructure models.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate across global teams.
