Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless networks to support business operations.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, including firewall, router, and switch configurations.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity best practices, including access controls, encryption, and intrusion detection.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new technologies, such as SD-WAN, cloud networking, and IoT solutions.
- Conduct regular network audits, vulnerability assessments, and capacity planning.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network staff.
- Document network architectures, policies, and procedures for compliance and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Network Administrator or Network Engineer.
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei networking hardware and software.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, and VLANs.
- Experience with firewall management (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA) and network security protocols.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required.
