Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and maintain LogicMonitor solutions to monitor enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services.
- Integrate LogicMonitor with other enterprise platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Splunk, AWS, Azure) to streamline incident management and reporting.
- Develop custom dashboards, alerts, and reports to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Automate monitoring processes using scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and APIs to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify monitoring gaps and implement proactive solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to monitoring tools, data collection, and alerting mechanisms.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in IT monitoring and observability.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on monitoring strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT monitoring, with at least 2 years using LogicMonitor.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, server infrastructure, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with API integrations, scripting (Python, PowerShell), and automation tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL, DevOps, or SRE practices is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications in LogicMonitor, ITIL, or cloud platforms are highly desirable.
