Note: This is a fully remote position with a preference for candidates based in Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung).
Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Flutter-based mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, and designers) to identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira or Trello.
- Perform API testing (RESTful/SOAP) to validate data integrity, response times, and error handling across backend services.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks like Flutter Driver, Appium, or similar tools to improve testing efficiency.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure new features or updates do not introduce defects into existing functionality.
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to align testing efforts with development cycles.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in mobile QA, Flutter, and API testing to enhance testing methodologies.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in mobile QA engineering, with a strong focus on Flutter and API testing.
- Proven expertise in writing and executing test cases for mobile applications (iOS and Android).
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured) and understanding of RESTful/SOAP protocols.
- Familiarity with automation testing frameworks (e.g., Flutter Driver, Appium, Selenium) and scripting languages (e.g., Dart, Python, or JavaScript).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
