Responsibility
- Oversee the end-to-end change management lifecycle, from planning and approval to implementation and post-deployment review.
- Coordinate software release schedules, ensuring alignment with business objectives and minimal disruption to services.
- Develop and enforce change control policies and procedures to maintain compliance with ITIL and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to identify dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report on release performance metrics, including success rates, rollback incidents, and deployment times.
- Lead post-release reviews to analyze outcomes, document lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure documentation accuracy for all change requests, release notes, and version histories.
- Provide stakeholder communication and training to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new releases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in change and release management, preferably in a BSS or telecom environment.
- Proven expertise in ITIL frameworks and change management methodologies.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile/DevOps practices.
- Experience with release automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, JIRA, ServiceNow) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Certifications such as ITIL v4, PMP, or PRINCE2 are a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
