Responsibility
- Develop and review MEPFS designs, including schematics, layouts, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM 360.
- Ensure all designs comply with Indonesian building codes, international standards (NFPA, ASHRAE), and client specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate MEPFS systems seamlessly into project plans.
- Conduct load calculations, energy efficiency analyses, and system sizing for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Prepare technical reports, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and cost estimates for MEPFS components.
- Oversee the tendering process for MEPFS subcontractors and evaluate bids for technical and commercial viability.
- Provide on-site support during construction to resolve design-related issues and ensure adherence to plans.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies in sustainable MEPFS design, such as solar integration, water recycling, and smart building systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or related field); Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in MEPFS design, preferably in Southeast Asia or the Middle East.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and BIM software.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian SNI standards, NFPA, ASHRAE, and IBC codes.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects from concept to completion.
- Excellent communication and project management skills; ability to liaise with multicultural teams.
- PE (Professional Engineer) license or equivalent certification is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles (LEED, Green Mark) is a plus.
