Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize HVAC systems for large-scale projects in aviation, power, commercial, and infrastructure sectors, ensuring compliance with international standards (ASHRAE, ISO, etc.).
- Conduct thermal load calculations, energy modeling, and system simulations to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to integrate HVAC designs seamlessly into overall project plans.
- Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and reports for HVAC systems, including equipment selection and cost estimates.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems to ensure performance meets design intent and client requirements.
- Perform site inspections and provide technical support during construction to resolve any HVAC-related issues.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation in HVAC design and implementation.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; professional certification (e.g., P.E., LEED AP) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC design and engineering, with a strong portfolio of complex projects.
- Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, EnergyPlus, or IES VE).
- In-depth knowledge of international HVAC standards (ASHRAE, ISO, NFPA) and local building codes.
- Experience with energy-efficient and sustainable HVAC solutions, including renewable energy integration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform detailed calculations and simulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia) are advantageous.
