Responsibility
- Oversee and manage daily mechanical maintenance operations for plants, machinery, and associated infrastructures to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan and reduce operational costs.
- Conduct thorough inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems, identifying root causes of failures and proposing effective solutions.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental (SHE) regulations, conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to source high-quality mechanical components, tools, and spare parts while optimizing budget allocation.
- Lead and mentor a team of technicians and junior engineers, providing technical guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Prepare and present detailed technical reports, maintenance logs, and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry advancements in mechanical engineering, recommending and integrating innovative technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., P.E., CMRP) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on plant maintenance, industrial machinery, or infrastructure systems.
- Proven expertise in preventive/predictive maintenance, root cause analysis (RCA), and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (e.g., HVAC, pumps, compressors, conveyors) and familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in technical documentation, including maintenance manuals, SOPs, and compliance reports.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Willingness to work in Badung, Bali, with occasional travel to other sites as required.
