Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of mechanical technicians in daily operations and maintenance activities
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and implement corrective actions
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and performance optimization of industrial machinery
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless operations and minimal downtime
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and recommend improvements for efficiency gains
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards in all mechanical operations
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to management
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with procurement for timely replacements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in industrial gas or manufacturing
- Proven leadership experience managing technical teams (2+ years)
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems
- Experience with acetylene production equipment is highly desirable
- Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques and condition monitoring
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Certification in mechanical engineering or related field is a plus
