Responsibility
- Develop detailed HVAC system designs, including ductwork, piping, and equipment layouts, using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Collaborate with the Design Consultant to create technical specifications and ensure compliance with local and international HVAC standards.
- Conduct load calculations and energy modeling to optimize system performance and efficiency.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and Bill of Materials (BOM) for accuracy and feasibility.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems into overall project designs.
- Perform site visits and inspections to assess existing systems and gather data for new designs.
- Stay updated with the latest HVAC technologies, trends, and regulations to incorporate best practices into designs.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during the installation and commissioning phases of projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC design, preferably in industrial or commercial projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other HVAC design software.
- Strong understanding of HVAC principles, including psychrometrics, load calculations, and system sizing.
- Experience with local and international HVAC codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, SMACNA).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
